What is Anarchism?

Anarchism has influenced political movements for centuries; from peasant revolts to early labour disputes, the Spanish civil war and the recent student and anti-cuts mobilisations. Characterised by its opposition to the state and capitalism and by its desire for more co-operative, non-hierarchical forms of social, political and economic organization.

Hear a variety of anarchist perspectives from students, anarcho-syndicalist organisation Solidarity Federation, academics and local squatting support group Squatters Network of Brighton. Followed with open discussion of ‘What is Anarchism?’ and what it means to us today.
